An ultra rare silent film starring Ranger the dog!

When sheep are mysteriously being slaughtered by vicious

animal attacks Lobo (Ranger) gets blamed. The ranchers

decide the dog must die and hunt him down. Jed, the dog's

owner feels that he should be the one to do the job and he

takes Lobo out to shoot him. Meanwhile the ranchers learn

that Lobo has been falsely accused and they must race to

stop Jed before he makes a terrible mistake!

This release comes from the only known print, a 16mm that

was located overseas and had opening titles and all of the

intertitles in Dutch. We have created all new English titles

for this release. Though the original print certainly shows it

age, it is a great find and a rare glimpse into the career of

Ranger. Special thanks to collector Dan Condon for giving

up his print to our collection.
